Is Dubai Trade Centre Metro Station Open Yet?

Paraglider is planning a trip to Dubai next week, and will be living close to BurJuman Centre Metro and working at the Trade Centre. He hopes some kind soul on the spot can confirm whether or not Trade Centre Metro is functional, as the Internet appears to have conflicting information on the subject.

  2. Thanks for answering :) Pity, the Metro would have been the obvious way to do it.

  3. You can walk, 10-15 mins, or take a feeder bus from Financial Centre.

  4. Anon- thanks. In the morning, taxi to Trade Centre is no problem, but in the evenings the taxi queue is too long. Previous years I've either walked back to Paranormal (takes about 45 mins) or crossed the bridge to Fairmont and grabbed a hotel taxi. This year, I was hoping to ride Metro, that's all ;)

  5. The Trade Centre Station opening was delayed (surprise, surprise) and is now scheduled for April 25. But as the weather's still pretty good the walk from Al Jafiliya is OK.

  6. Thanks Seabee - that's probably what I'll do. Unless it's snowing, of course.

  7. Well, I hope we're going to see you at the Para... even if Helga isn't there...

  8. Shouldn't that be especially if Helga isn't there? It was a busy week, but I did get there on the Friday afternoon, and Seaview on the same night.
